The Dream Came to Reality!

Image
It’s been over a year since I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from AFU, Rampur (7th batch). Time has passed, but I still feel stuck—caught between two worlds. One part of me wants to stay in Nepal, close to my family, especially when I see the tears in my mom’s eyes. And the other part? It whispers about the future—the fully funded opportunity waiting for me in the USA, the career I’ve dreamed about for so long. It’s not an easy choice. My heart aches thinking about leaving home. I know my family has always been there for me. They’ve been my strength, especially when I didn’t have many friends to lean on. Without them, I don’t think I would’ve made it through some of the hardest days. This journey… it hasn’t been smooth. There were moments I felt completely lost, mentally drained, and hopeless. Yet somehow, I kept moving. I still don’t know how I found the energy to email nearly 2,000 professors after spending exhausting days in a hot biotech lab during the summer. ...

Biotech Lab / NARC / NBRC

After finishing my bachelor’s degree, I felt lost and unsure about how to begin my career. Everything felt like starting from zero. But when I got the chance to work at the Biotechnology Lab in Khumaltar, Lalitpur, things slowly started to make sense. Seeing how a molecular lab actually works sparked something in me. That hands-on experience made me realize how much I’m drawn to biotechnology—especially its role in agriculture. Since then, my curiosity has only grown. I’m genuinely excited to learn more about tools like genomics, genome-wide association studies, proteomics, bioinformatics, and techniques related to food safety and quality. It feels like I’ve finally found the path I was looking for. "DNA extraction" "Drying and Washing"

We are at the midst of COVID-19  outbreaks, suffering the huge economic loses and food insecurity .During this tough time, corona-virus outbreak has impacts driving up acute hunger in different places and its our turn to play a active role. So, instead of wasting the unused vegetables, we can come up with ideas of storing for the enhancement of post harvest  .
